Number Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Very very overrated in T20s. By the time his rhythm sets in he is gone for plenty of runs and spell is over.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Rabada record in Aus has gotten even worse Matches - 8 wkts- 3 Avg 74.33 Eco - 9.33 s/r - 48
Serpico Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 This WC is full of surprises. I thought bhuvi would get massacred in Aus (can still get in semi) but he was quite economical

It is not about overall stats of a player. That is called a crunch player who seizes the big moments and helps his team win big tournaments. I want such crunch players. I don't want the stats padders who look after themselves by performing well in low key games. Yes. Key moments against Netherlands. Wasn't even a choke. Edited November 6, 2022 by Chakdephatte

So Rabada can't seize the key moments in important T20Is. The SA selectors should drop him from T20Is then if they have the guts. Why are Indian fans trying to hide the inadequacy of their bowlers based on Rabada's poor T20I temperament !! Mosher and Norman 1 1
zen Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 R A B A D A over Bhuvi despite SA being out of the WC Even IPL teams have spent twice as much on Rabada (9.25 cr) than on Bhuvi (4.20 cr)

singhvivek141 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Rabada's form in T20 has gone down, someone who used to match Nortje pace by pace is now operating in Ngidi's speed range...those Yorkers are completely missing which used to castle likes of Russell at 148kph. But despite of that he is no doubt the best bowler for RSA all formats combined.

Stop using your key moments excuse atleast now. When you don't perform in 90% of games, it doesn't matter. How do you predict which player turns up in a big match anyway?

SA best bowler is nortje Rabada for own sake shud retire from one format , he has been preserving himself so he doesnt give his 100% . His number are just getting worse and worse in t20i In ODI also - bumrah, starc, archer, shami, shaheen, nortje, boult , hazelwood all avg better and are doing a better job for their teams. If he keeps bowling like this his avg of 27 in ODI which by no means suits his standard will keep going down . The yorker ur talking was 3 yrs old and he has started to bowl within himself after that .

Nortje has to play a bit more (atleast 25 Tests or 50 ODI's) and sustain that performance before claiming that, Rabada has carried the SA load for a long time across formats with performance. Rabada has been treated the same way Srinath was, bowling relentlessly spells after spells, it was bound to take an impact on the body. If I am not wrong Rabada once bowled most number of spells for a young fast bowler than any other nation. Steyn was managed well by RSA due to presence of good support bowlers, Rabada unfortunately didn't had that luxury. express bowling 1

They play U19, then State Level, then A team games and / or the IPL and then play for India. And older players have a lot of international match data too. It's not difficult to see who the clutch players are. Winning the big matches, big test series and big LOI tournaments are the most important things in cricket. Our twin Test series wins in Australia and our 3 World Cups are worth a 100 times than low key bilateral.LOIs and test series wins vs current SL, BD etc. And the performances which helped us achieve these will be worth a lot more too. And this logic applies to every team. Edited November 7, 2022 by express bowling Mosher, zen, Suhaan and 1 other 2 2
