I mean this could very well be as i can't find any other reason despite so many atrocious performances players are being selected offcourse there is PR of players as well .thoughts ?

Of course! It is a very compromised, corrupt set-up right from the top with a nepotist ruling the roost. Chetan Sharma, who was a bhikhariyon ka Ajit Agarkar in his time, is the chief selector. What kind of selections will he make? The incompetent batting coach Vikram Rathour has been given a second term, while Bharat Arun who did great work as bowling coach was bid goodbye and not even requested to continue. Dravid was roped in to lend an air of credibility to proceedings while all kinds of shenanigans happen in the backroom. He is a good man, has the best interests of Indian cricket despite some blunders he has done. But he is a pawn who has no clue how he is being played. 

Bottomline is, as fans, we can only hope for the best despite, and not because of the way out cricket administration is done.

Quite possible, I mean who selects three spinner plus hooda a part time spinner plus off cutter bowler pacer for Australia early season rainy conditions. 

No back up of fast bowler and openers

Need to be given chances. The guy has been playing T20 WC since 2010-2012.

These are your culprits, these should be sacked straightaway whther India win or loose, for such a bad understanding of cricket knowledge. 

I have lost alll confidence in Dravid, this is a person who came with this statement who need pace, then bad selection for Asia cup and then again World Cup. 

I will not be surprised that Dravid end up selecting Jaydev and Sandeep sharma with 5 or 6 spinners in away tour of SENA countries

Hooda, Dk, Ashwin have sponsors? I don't remember a single ad from them outside their ipl team ads
