A lot depends on how rest of the games go through. 
Big ground. Going by Pak match, will aid fast bowling.

should Harshal Play ahead of Axar or Ashwin

Pant to replace DK to address MO woes?

Dravid won't play Pant & probably use him straight into Semis with no match practice after DK fails again. 

 

Playing a Semi in Sydney will be lot easier for us rather than Adelaide with its short square boundaries & seam movement.

Pant must play against Zimbabwe.

 

The problem is is that he may exposed their stupidity of not playing him in Australia.

 

DK didnt just fail with the bat, his glovework has been bad.

Out of the squad we have, I would be tempted to go with:

 

1. Rohit

2. Ashwin

3. Kohli

4. SKY

5. KL

6. Pant

7. Pandya

8. Harshal

9. Bhuvi

10. Shami

11. Arshdeep

 

Ashwin is ok at finding gaps and could play second fiddle to Rohit quite nicely in the PP. He could play the role Rizwan/Babar have been playing. We bat till 8 with Harshal having the ability to tonk a few; 4 "quicks" + Pandya and Ashwin. Kela will be sandwiched between SKY, Pant and Pandya which will force him to go for it too. However, knowing our dumb team management this is just a pipe dream. I can only hope they at least drop that choker and useless clown DK.
