It was fault of selectors to keep on playing Dhoni in t20s based on his reputation. His game was built for 2000s whiteball cricket. Run hard and hit occasional boundaries. tapandrun and Lord 1 1

He's permanent captain now. Selectors don't have cojones to go against the captain. On related, guess who's our new chief selector? maniac and Pollack 1 1

This guy gets the "long rope", while Shaw and Samson languish - one in the wilderness, the other down the order for an odd game here and there. Shaw definitely has some issues of his own doing. No way TM would ignore a talent like him in t20 without any strong reasons. Samson will get chances. Unfortunately he got injured.

I love how vague whispers of 'issues' are used to justify dropping a test match opener after one dismissal in a pink ball test where India ended up with 36/9. I mean, no excuses for bad fitness, bad work ethic or anything like that. But do we really know this for a fact? nitinbwj and Lord 1 1
maniac Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 This Karunaratne always goes 10-15 runs lesser than his capacity against India. Why isn’t this trundler being bashed? nitinbwj 1
Number Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 On this pitch this is a match losing innings nitinbwj, tapandrun and Moochad 1 2
raki05 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Gill is true successor of top 3 and deserved to play wt20 before anyone else along with our celebrated top 3.
vvvslaxman Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Anyone going at 100 strike rate at Rajkot has to suck real bad.
nitinbwj Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 It would be utter chewtoyapa if Axar and Hooda didnt even get to bat
tapandrun Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Where other are going at SR over 160s is it okay for 1 batter to go near to 100 sr?? Is this not effecting team in the wrong way??

A news reporter wouldn't indicate openly on national TV if there is not something serious.
