If India somehow manages to sweep Austraya 4-0, we get to play Lanka in the WTC finals

We will lose the WTC finals to Aus in English conditions  -guaranteed. 
 

Imagine beating Aus 4-0 and facing lanka in the finals in Eng.

 

Am confident India will give Lanka a nice whopping if this miracle 4-0 against Aus does happen.

 

Sadly, our team doesn’t have the ruthlessness or strategic ambition to make this is reality.

That's so true......if we play with our chokers top 4 of kela, Kohli,Gujara and Sharma than no surprise if we loose to sl as well.

Our batting isn't consistent and with Virat not in form our middle order is vulnerable. We are missing two best players in the middle Shreyas & Pant. So lets not count chickens before they hatch. Not sure why Ashwin was sent as night watchman as he is crucial for India down the order with the bat. In the current scenario Virat is a much better nightwatchman than Ashwin to be frank. We rely a lot on Ashwin, Jadeja, Shreyas & Pant to bail us out a lot in home Tests. 2 out of 4 aren't there in this Test so it will be interesting how our batting does. Unless we get 150-200 runs in front, we cannot be sure of an Indian win.

this would have made sense for a champion team. For a team where failures keep making to the playing XI. We might end up losing a tightly fought series where we essentially have just 4-5 players contributing.

hopefully Bumrah will be back if we play final..and this time we will have Siraj too..so our bowlers can give tough time to opposition..

only concern is batting as Pant may not be there to support..Gill needs to be included..

No bumrah after injury thanks. He is dog shite after injury usually. He needs game time to get ready. So let him get prepped for the next series instead post wtc.
