zen Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 For me, these two venues are the best for different reasons: A’bad: the grandeur, the bouncy pitch (a la Brisbane) esp. when the ball is new, and the atmosphere with lighting and such stuff! … This is a modern marvel. D’sala: This feels rooted in tradition, a picturesque venue nestled among the snowy mountains, and sports bouncy pitches as well. These two venues make cricket watching a great experience in India.
Chakdephatte Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Right. And those two venues in Maharashtra from last season.
zen Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Additionally, the outfield is outstanding at A’bad & D’sala. D’sala’s outfield was relaid recently iirc … They look like billiard table or a soccer field!
Lord Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Dharamsala is perfect for T20s. They should develop it more singhvivek141 1

I went for NZ v PAK. And my house is near Marathahalli. Traffic wasnt too bad. I like the idea of newer venues , provided they can draw crowds . Dharamsala crowd for the 5th Test was impressive , I must say.
Real McCoy Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 I wonder why OP didn't mention Pujara when talking about "bouncy" pitches. He is known for his attacking instincts, smashing pull and hook shots, taking it to the fastmen all ideal for T20 cricket
