For me, these two venues are the best for different reasons:

A’bad: the grandeur, the bouncy pitch (a la Brisbane) esp. when the ball is new, and the atmosphere with lighting and such stuff! … This is a modern marvel.

D’sala: This feels rooted in tradition, a picturesque venue nestled among the snowy mountains, and sports bouncy pitches as well.

These two venues make cricket watching a great experience in India.

Additionally, the outfield is outstanding at A’bad & D’sala. D’sala’s outfield was relaid recently iirc … They look like billiard table or a soccer field!

Stadium in and around hills are going to be beautiful and picturesque.

I wish we can get a stadium in Arunachal Pradesh and one near Dehradun/Rishikesh.

In winters, yes the weather is great. In summers it become hot these days ...but Mussoorie is not very far from there (30-40 km) and it has pleasent weather all throughout the year.

I was also hoping that some ipl franchise would emerge from this area but may be we need to wait for a few years..

Lucknow can use it as their second stadium.....just like Punjab uses Dharamshala

Bangalore is the best venue apart from the fact that the home team sucks, the fans are unreal.

Anything in Bengaluru is awesome ... if you are within a 20 min walk. Otherwise, not worth it.

I went for NZ v PAK. And my house is near Marathahalli.  Traffic wasnt too bad.

I like the idea of newer venues , provided they can draw crowds .

Dharamsala crowd for the 5th Test was impressive , I must say.

I wonder why OP didn't mention Pujara when talking about "bouncy" pitches. He is known for his attacking instincts, smashing pull and hook shots, taking it to the fastmen all ideal for T20 cricket :--D
