A’bad & D’sala are the two best IPL venues!

For me, these two venues are the best for different reasons:

A’bad: the grandeur, the bouncy pitch (a la Brisbane) esp. when the ball is new, and the atmosphere with lighting and such stuff! … This is a modern marvel.

D’sala: This feels rooted in tradition, a picturesque venue nestled among the snowy mountains, and sports bouncy pitches as well.

These two venues make cricket watching a great experience in India.

Dehradun is a lso beautiful right. When i visit India next time i will plan a trip to Dehradun

In winters, yes the weather is great. In summers it become hot these days ...but Mussoorie is not very far from there (30-40 km) and it has pleasent weather all throughout the year.

Did any international match happened here ? I am unable to recall..

Afganistan used it as their home stadium for some time.. so perhaps lots of that division internationals. Dont know if they do now.

Anything in Bengaluru is awesome ... if you are within a 20 min walk. Otherwise, not worth it.

I went for NZ v PAK. And my house is near Marathahalli.  Traffic wasnt too bad.

I like the idea of newer venues , provided they can draw crowds .

Dharamsala crowd for the 5th Test was impressive , I must say.
