Hi

we lost . It was a good run . What is one change u want in t20 , odi and test team each

personally me -

t20

- get players with high strike rate and all round capabilities

odi

- avoid players who chase milestones ,groom more pure all rounders

tests

- focus on bowling , groom 140 k plus bowlers and groom spinners . Ash and jaddu won’t play forever .

Pehle panautis ko nikaalo

Rohit

Jaddu

Kohli

They can't win

These 3 were there in each and every heartbreak

And throw mental midgets like rahul and shunya kumar plus bumrah

A lady tweeted "u win some u lose some"

I replied" behen jab tak ye panauti hai team main u lose some and u lose some more ho raha hai", bc block kr diya incidentally she was kohli fan

Stop selecting multi format players. One player shouldn't play all 3 format.

Australia in the last couple of years, just won ICC trophies in all the 3 formats with literally the same 3 pacers (Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood). Their batting is also more or less the same in all 3 formats.

Australia is lot more professional in their approach, they don't go chasing meaningless stats. For them international commitment is a priority over IPL, BBL or any other league.

Our setup is different, any player who plays all 3 formats suddenly becomes the next "God". Irreplaceable.

It's better to divide assets in multiple portfolios, instead of risking everything in one allocation.

This player 'worship' culture that we have in cricket is our biggest bane. Focus should be on playing selflessly and making your team win rather than chasing irrelevant records.

We should move on from the 90's Tendulkar era.

hmm... we need lots of changes considering Kolhi, Rohit, Shami, Jaddu won't be around for the next one.

Kohli will play the next ODI WC. Our entire pace attack and probably even Kuldeep won't be around by then.

The biggest change I want is for the selectors, TM and "experts" to stop putting the world cup on a pedestal. Just treat it like any other tournament and if a promising new player comes along in a WC year, pick him. Don't leave him out just because it's a world cup. Likewise, leave out washed up players and don't pick them on fond hopes that they will somehow turn the clock back.

Exactly, he played in that era for good 8-10 years when most of this team around him were complete joke. Hence he had to be selfish to ensure we reach to a fighting total...how many times we have shut off the TV when Sachin got out..he was head and shoulders above rest for initial 8-10 years.

We have long passed that stage, need to change with time.

Change the sport

Let's support other sports in India

THIS

BCCI will only consider improving the team's performance if money streams start drying up. Support other sports. Our athletes are doing well. Our chess players are among some of the best. Our badminton players have performed well over the last 10-12 years. Start diverting money away from cricket. Strangely, that may end up benefiting Indian cricket.

Make winning Finals and Semi Finals of ICC tournaments as the Sole priority of the Team in white ball cricket.

As a Team, don't celebrate any other wins or personal milestones.

In tests, winning Away series against big teams should be the primary aim.

In life, we achieve what we really really want. And that should be winning ICC events for this team.

Weight of milestones is needed here.

In WTC or white ball final, a century is like worth 10 centuries in bilateral series. Im not saying this is the standard, Im saying its time to only place importance of these stats in significant games.

In meaningless irrelevant games, these 100s are useless to Team India.

Yup

50th Hundred celebration and applause was more than what even Djokovic got when he won record 23rd slam. Celebrating non sensical individual achievements in a team sport can only appeal to people in India.
