The same Indians showed plenty of love towards Gayle, Bravo etc. Cottrell's salute was copied by scores of little kids who posted videos on Twitter and tagged him. Bavuma is not liked for cricketing reasons.

Majority Indians don't know jack about South African history & local politics...  Hence they target Bavuma as if he is the bad guy. 

He is still best Black African batter in SA circuit.  Played clutch knocks in our series defeat in SA... And also in ODIs vs Aus.

Maybe the Indian fans were thinking SA would have been an easy opponent in the finals and trolling Bavuma for not contributing anything in the semi finals, neither with the bat not with his captaincy.

SA cricket is only performing at a percentage of it's potential.

 

If the black population (90%) gets into cricket they will be a very dangerous team.

 

Currently like Indian hockey team where entire team is mostly from one demographic.

Black Africans are generally not interested in cricket. SA , Zimbabwe , Kenya wherever they tried to promote blacks they failed. 

 

SA football team in 2010 was 70-80% black while even after Mugabe 's brutal regime Zimbabwe's best player is imported Pakistani.
