More than experienced. Now, he needs more experience in "domestics".
ungboysj Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 People are missing the young word there Young players deserve a longer run so they can serve for a decade when come good Can anyone bet that gill won't succeed and in few years he will be india best bat Everyone knows it so let's back him Lord 1
tweaker Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 The perfomance is not about young and old ,today young inexperienced Windies side defeated Australia. Our team doesn't have a fight in them nevada, singhvivek141, Frustrated and 2 others 3 2
The Realist Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 What young players? Vast majority are 30+ and past their sell by date

I'm surprised there are still people out here who think he's gonna be a successful test cricketer let alone the best in the team. Frustrated, harpicP and Adamant 3

And also check the thread title. It's written "inexperienced" No where it is written "young". Its like shiftling goal posts.
ungboysj Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 In first post it is mentioned young That is why didn't include siraj Bharat axar etc

Rohit does not have it in him. Iyer is an ordinary test batsman. Gill lost his focus on cricket. We need to tell them that they don't deserve to be in the playing 11 unless they get into Ranji and A tours and prove that they still have it in him. Unfortunately these are entitled bunch backed by BCCI, hence nothing will change.

Iyer is with the Indian team for last 5-6 years. There are lots of players who can replace them ,if they are selected properly.
LordPrabhzy Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 chutiya thread- a totally inexperienced WI side beat Aus in a day night test, at the Gabba and a guy with a broken toe taking 7 wickets.. Frustrated 1
Majestic Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Both Gill and Iyer should be dropped. Gill has got enough chances and he has failed while Iyer also has poor game vs quality pace or spin. India would do better with better players.
Suhaan Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Pujara and Rahane having field day today We can't replace those two guys, shame on our selectors and TM Aur karo pamper inn entitled bunch ko

He was actually not needed in India. For SENA, yes.
BacktoCricaddict Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 This argument does not hold. The most memorable 3-test winning streak in Indian test history, culminating in the most memorable test win ever (Gabba 2021) was put together by the most inexperienced team.
Vickydev Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 The visiting English side has about the same or even lesser experience than these guys. A man on debut tore us to shreds Anyways Iyer must be 28 or something( Haven't checked) . How is that supposed to be young? Agree about Jaiswal though, he needs time.
SRT100 Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Filthy, disgusting, arrogant, self entitled cricketers. This is not only a National shame but an embarrassment to every cricket loving Indian worldwide, including myself. Zero accountability. They lose the WC in a pathetic meek, passive beta manner, then get bashed by another SENA team, the Poms in the 1st Test. India may have most of the money in world cricket but its a pathetic cricketing nation.
