I don’t see too many quality spinners at least in white ball. Thats a red flag. There are a few more but would still need time.

That's a laughably poor team with no batting depth. Washington Sundar is not a white-ball player, similar to Jadeja. You've to have likes of Riyaan Parag to add depth. This team is similar to the current India or RCB team which is top heavy and once you lose early wkts, the result is sealed. And neither is Siraj a decent white ball bowler. Take away SL, and I don't recall him doing anything special - poor ER and gets carted all over both in PP and at the death.

 

And as for Sharma's legacy, the only legacy is choking in knockouts. Can't recall one impactful innings in a knockout in any format. At least Kohli has a couple of knocks in WT20 but Rohit Sharma doesn't even have that. A complete failure of all that investment, and should've been dropped after WC 2023.

Rohit's legacy is bi-lateral bully and hitting those useless odi double tons against them. When it mattered he buckled under pressure just like Kohli.

There is nothing like DREAM Indian team, we dont have the talent.
Our youngsters lost against SRILANKA D side and are not tough enough to handle International cricket. All of them are injury prone.

Also this Rinku Singh bubble will burst in this wt20, he is not international class.

Dhruv Jurel's 50 in that crucial game was really good. GUy is very tough. I have a feeling he was severely under-utilized by RR. SHould have been used as opener instead of that cadbury guy. He also proved his worth in itnernational.

Result doesn't matter from Indian perspective. We just have to take the good. He showed his mettle. Sai Sudarshan another guy last season in the final stepped up.
