Chakdephatte Posted June 3, 2024 Author Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) This is one of the things India needs to learn. In India, it's normal for fans to breach security and touch players feet/ hug them. It's a crime and should not be done during ongoing match. It is so normalized that Rohit is actually stopping NY police to arrest him. You can't police the police, LOL! Edited June 3, 2024 by Chakdephatte Zero_Unit and cricspirit 2
Lord Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Might be deported and won't ever get visa to anywhere after that.

Yes, they don't play soft like our stadium security. If he is from India he may even get deported, future travel to USA too will be very difficult. Wrong country to pull such stunts, even European venues are more tolerant to such idiots, but not USA. New guy 1
rageaddict Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) Saw the video and how Rohit was requesting to go easy on the intruder. Our Indian security guys take away the intruders off the field with so much calmness. The Way the US Security guy pounced on that intruder, it looked like he was getting in a position to take knee on his neck and then shoot him in back of his head. Such a brutal way of handling things, the perception of US Cops being trigger happy and using excessive force must be genuine.. Edited June 3, 2024 by rageaddict Ultimate_Game 1
The Realist Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Was that Yuv Chahal trying to hug/thank Rohit Sharma for giving him a free all-expenses-paid holiday? @velu velu 1

kosingh Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 I wouldn't be surprised if at least one cricketer also gets arrested during the WC in America. Public intoxication, drug possession, sexual assault, drunk driving....something. Ultimate_Game 1

Such a brutal way of handling things, the perception of US Cops being trigger happy and using excessive force must be genuine.. It's not a perception, it's the truth. US police is some of the most trigger-happy and incompetent police force on the planet. The number of people with mental health issues, and minorities who have been shot is shocking. There's literally no oversight and they run their own fiefdom. Us cops are even worse than Indian cops. In India the cops will try to extort you, and may put you in jail. In US, calling cops is like a game of Russian roulette - you never know what might happen and be prepared for someone to get shot. But in this case it's the spectator who's at fault. The tourney has received threat from ISIS and this is how the folks who jeopardize player safety need to be treated. And the chap who was caught will realize ramifications in the future when charges are placed against him, and it'll be on his record forever. Kiss goodbye to any decent job as it'll come up in background check. Kron, Vijy, New guy and 1 other 4
