Can swing, banda tall hai, bowls to his field, good yorkers (ability is there), always learning, mentally tough, just 25. Lot of upsides. Most importantly sardarji has the eye of the tiger, and wants to improve. His catching was meme level when he first came in, now he has improved that, he can hit 6s, he will be part of multiple ICC trophy winning teams.

Exactly lol

6'3 taller than amir rauf who is only 5.11

And taller than all their players except shaheen

He gets good bounce when he attempts short balls. He can move the ball both ways. He is fairly accurate. In this format he is really good. He will improve alot in odi too. Not sure if test quality however.

You'll see lots of jealousy from Pooks in coming years. India will leave their country in the dust in all facets, global importance, cultural weight, economy, innovation, tourism, sports, entertainment. Gulf is already big, but it will become humongous in the future.

Pakistan is 5th largest country in the world with literacy rate of 58 perc. That means every second Pakistani you see on streets is illiterate. Enough said.

Pakistanis are seething with jealousy and I must say it gives me immense satisfaction. These fools got spanked by USA which was made up of indian software engineers who played cricket probably once a week; and India ended up winning the whole thing smashing not only Pak but each of Pak's adopted teams against India like Aus, Eng etc.

All their junoon jazba chucking etc is quickly unraveling with advances in technology, stricter testing etc. I don't really like to even compare India and pak anymore other than when we need to give neighbours a reality check.

One of the great things about a rising economy is a system in place which ensures our players take leaps and become better - Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja, Ishant, Ashwin, Pujara, Rahane, Arshdeep, Shami, Bumrah, Kuldeep etc all took leaps in their career to become better than what they were when they started out.

This is in contrast to the mid 00s - Munaf, RP, Sreesanth, Amit Mishra etc never lived up to their potential.

Australia also has that - Smith, Head, Khawaja all improved and became good players. Hayden, Martyn etc from back in the day.

Pakistani have the problem we had back in the day - Shaheen, Babar, Umar Akmal, Junaid, Nasir Jamshed, Shadab etc etc all

Even with this system, Chahal hasn't improved one bit.

Pookas are always jealous of minorities in Indian cricket. May be they want to show they are not treated well in India. They have said same thing about Pathan and now Arshdeep.

Why we are spending so much time discussing what a radical Pakistani who accidently is an ex cricketer instead of being a terrorist of suicide bomber thinks of a professional cricketer.

Pakistan as a society is a failed state, and had this fella would have been in India. He would have been cleaning toilets at some railway station and taking 5 rupees from each individual sitting in front of sulabh sauchalay.

His ceiling is not the highest but he can execute his skills under pressure better than any Pakistani bowler for sure.

I disagree. The very fact he's able to handle big moments and perform under unbelievable pressure shows that he's up there with the best, and that's a pretty high ceiling. What good is a bowler who can't handle big moments. Looking at you Siraj and Kuldeep along with all of the Pak bowlers.

His strike rate in world T20s is 11.20 or something. Bhuvi has a strike rate of 30.

Aaqib, who played a lot of cricket with Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, also feels that Bangladeshi youngsters Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahaman are "more talented than Bumrah". "Mustafiz and Taskin are both 20-year-olds and look at their quality. Taskin regularly hits 145 kmph mark and Mustafiz has such amazing variations. Bumrah at best is a fast medium bowler and team expects him to get a wicket or two and hurl a few in the blockhole at the death. Now that will make him a good Twenty20 bowler but beyond that I don't know," Aaqib said.

This G@ndu's only claim to fame was those two LBW calls of Sachin and Manjrekar at Sharjah by their cheating umpires. Otherwise he is a nothing bowler passing comments on who's a good bowler or not.

Self awareness is the first step towards self improvement, and these G@ndus old and new are severely lacking in this aspect.

And how many wickets have you taken that you are questioning aaqib Javed?

Does your borrowed quote not apply here?

Past players can comment on current generation and it shouldn’t be any issue.

Don't take these jokers seriously. They're deluded. We've seen comments like "Ahmad Shehzad is more talented than Tendulkar", "Umar Akmal is more talented than Kohli", "Babar Azam is better than Kohli and is the best batsman in the world", "Babar is as good as Bradman" etc.

Comedy from these clowns never end, and don't look for any serious analysis from them.

They can comment on players. But his tone was condescending.

That too when Arshdeep ended up with most wickets.

I always knew that Arshdeep can pick up early wkts due to swing and extra bounce etc but my concern before start of the tournament was his death bowling in IPL..but he bolwed so well and complemented Bumrah..esp on the big occassion it mattered..he didnt let David Miller hit him..and made job relatively easy for Pandya..

Though I want him to add more speed..but inspite of that what he bring sto the table is very good too..

Tall seamer..who swings the ball..and extracts bounce when he bends his back..good bouncers..

Good death bowling..

improved his fielding..

improving his batting..

You need such kind of positive and hard working people..who may start as normal but with hard work become very good..

The bojo forgets that their whole nation talks about Shaheen's spell to India where he got our openers out..

simllar spell and damage was done by this normal bowler against their team in Aus..

anyways..if their team is below normal..then our normal bowler is an upgrade over them..
