What happened to Rohit and Kohli's plans?   As per reports, Rohit was planning to enjoy his vacation in USA for 2 months.   And Kohli had plans to settle down in UK till the CT 2025.

Olympics ke saath clash, even the timings. If we do well there (at least be in contention for medals most days like Tokyo), and usual rainy weather in SL, ratings for this series will be unimaginably low. 

 

Really want that. Let 100% attention, love, respect, prayers be there for our Olympians who are under the radar most of the times.

 

The thought of Avinash Sable, a farm labourer's boy, lone man going head to head with teams of Kenyans, Ethiopians, Algerians, Somalis in 3000 m steeplechase is giving me goosebumps, he may or may not medal but he will do something no Indian athlete has come close to doing before. May many such stories emerge in Paris, may they all get love and riches showered on them, and fame.

 

Even when they missed out on medals by barest of margins, Dipa Karmakar and Aditi Ashok made millions of Indians follow gymnastics and golf in previous editions, glued to their screens for hours, trying to learn the rules.

The only change I can think is to maybe have Parag instead of Washington or maybe Siraj/Arshdeep if shami is not fit.

Rohit ran off to India once he realized even Trump is not safe in America and Kohli ran off after seeing his future in the UK under Bangladeshi and Pakistanis mayors.

The indian team does this to so many youngsters to accommodate their fav. Ishan, Kuldeep, Bishnoi & now Abhishek. Al got dropped after great performances to accommodate mediocre replacements but their favorites! Ewww.

Guy played a great knock to win a series in RSA when no one expected, gets dropped from the format next match.

 

Though I love Pant, have to say he has been lucky to get so much backing in white ball. Samson never once got a proper run.

Pant's maverick nature in Tests clouded the judgement of selectors, fans. But main reason he is backed because of captains. They go out of their way to back him compared to others. It is unfair because Pant played enough T20  cricket.  That is the way Indian selections have been oflate. Getting dropped right after a good performance.

Spot on.   Kela's performance even in recent ODI series in SA was also not upto the mark.  Just becz we won the series 2-1 under his captaincy, he has been retained in the team.  Makes no sense.

Samson has himself to blame. Even KL keeps better than him. Never improved one bit

 

and could have batted himself lower down in IPL where there was an opening. Instead took the easy route of batting in top 3 and now won't get chance unless top 3 has any vacancy.

Samson should be no 1 choice in T20 format.  Pant has had enough chances.

I don't mind Pant in ODI format for time being.  Maybe he will do well in middle overs against spin
