i am very happy with the bronze but we really deserved to be ranked much higher. they need to sort out the refs. refs are stopping us progressing further.

Man I thought South Korea will compete well against China in SFs in Table Tennis but Chinese are brushing them aside.

How can they be so good that even top Asian nations cannot compete against them.

Our people whining over India getting an Olympic bronze is something which our fathers wouldn't have seen.

india has very high potential to win golds in a number of sports but we need the right infrastructure, funding and backing to achieve that

 

see the korean video for archery training. see what they go through. see how government subsidises their programs. 

 

we need sports quota introduced in every univerisity across india. government needs to subsidise costs for popular sports not named cricket.

Ps. Missed the hockey game. Congo to team and the supporters here. Next Olympics final jana hain. Need an attacking coach. This British guy is good but too defensive. I think our players like attacking game.

Don't know what happened with women's hockey team they were good till CWG.

Last Olympics they played such a thrilling hockey, finished last and somehow qualified, then took Aussies down in QF. Were looking good for  bronze till umpires just became shameless to help Brits, gave so many fouls and cards.
