Mohd Siraj takes charge as DSP in Telangana

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy made the announcement that Siraj would be granted a Group-I government post for his service to the Indian team, including the T20 World Cup success earlier this year.

Siraj's education is 12th grade, giving group 1 status is bit too much. This is touch below IAS/IPS and most of the group 1 cadre get conferred IAS/IPS latter in their careers.

 

Revanth Reddy is distrubuting them as if it were peanuts and his bloody property. Giving him SI position would have been too much, he gifted DSP position bloody moron.

What muslim? These are rich overpaid cricketers. The reactions would be much harsher here if it were a Hindu cricketer. Imagine ICF's reaction to Kela or Kohli getting this.

Your rationale is that just because some politician gave a cricketer who happens to be Muslim an honorary police title, other Muslims in the area will now vote for the said politician against who ever they have been voting for so far?

Cricketers are overpampered, and someone like Siraj earns millions in IPL and with BCCI central contract, match fees, endorsements etc .

I just find the whole custom unnecessary and  vain.

 

Not saying that Muslims will vote for them because of that move, but it surely is the minister’s intention and the reason I think that is bcoz Siraj hasn’t done enough yet to be awarded with these titles, I could have understood this if it came at the end of his career.
