wanted_desi Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Siraj is such an Idiot. Someone who smashed you around and scored 140 at SR100, what is the point of sending him back. AKane, Lord, nevada and 1 other 1 1 2
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 The more I see of Siraj, more I dislike him. Head has owned him and India multiple times and when it counts. He's not like Kohli scoring soft runs once in a blue moon. He has won his team WTC Final, ODI WC final and probably will be the difference maker in the series. Siraj has come up short nearly every time and is giving "send offs" after dismissing Head for 140. The phucking moron! nevada, Norman, raki05 and 1 other 3 1
maniac Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Well done. It was frustrating for a 140 fast bowler, keeps steaming in, making this guy look like a tailender and then one lose delivery he absolutely slogs it. It was not a sledge just adrenaline fueled emotion. Fast bowling is a very tough job. Also you never know what Aussies said to him to trigger him.

Siraj to seems like emotional spur of the moment guy but harmless. however a lot of Indian fans seem to be upset with Siraj behavior. The guy was bowling his heart out. Vicks57 1

Head and his team haven't come close to winning a test series in India in generations. Siraj is part of T20 world cup winning squad. Siraj has won his team Asia cup in a single spell and a test at Lords against England. And here too Siraj's team is 1-0 up in which he has played his part. So I don't buy the argument that Siraj is a nobody in front of Head. He has right to celebrate his wicket. Head said something to him on his celebrations to which he reacted, though I agree a little more situational awareness on Siraj's part is needed.

More often than not Head has owned India. There has to be some level of awareness - you can't act like an idiot while about to lose the match. This was almost padosi level of slef-awareness. I recall one of their fast bowlers in 2015 WC who celebrated Kohli's wkt as if he won the WC. That was after Kohli had already scored a 100. Or the way Shaheen Afridi celebrates even though his team has conceded 300+ and is about to be walloped. Siraj comes of looking like a similar level idiot. AKane and raki05 1 1

vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 He is taking out frustration for his own mistake of dropping a catch? Lord 1
deepdynamo Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Siraj will end with a mediocre career of around 135 test wicket after playing around 45 test with an average of 33. Waste of Investment though he did win us couple of overseas tests. Lord 1
raki05 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I am all for sledging and booing but he overdose it like some paxtani bowlers. He always engaged with a batter and acts like an angry man inspite of getting thrashed mercilessly. He try to copy clown kohli in this regard. nevada 1
Adamant Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Its okay, no problem here, cricket is not a sissy game.
The Dark Horse Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 At least he showed some fight unlike the meek batting clowns

goose Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 i thought it was pretty clear from the footage. siraj gave his customary piercing stare and fist pump in his follow through practically under head's nose, head mouthed some expletive back, siraj then waved him off on his way. that last bit is the send off but it came after the verbals. we have seen several bowlers over the years in the same mould, brett lee, shane watson, andre nel, sreesanth
