Poor decision, as usual Pakistani's will never address the real problem. Their core issue is their bowling, that's total bananas and even poor than Afghanistan. They are beaten by Bangladesh in Tests and USA in T20's, yet they learn nothing. They need to get in new bowlers, not this T20 bowlers but proper bowlers who can bowl 10 overs of spin or pace with accuracy. Batting wise, this is the best they have. Babar, Imam, Rizwan etc are their best hope....remove them as well and you will get tullas who will score 8(10) courtesy of hacks and then will skew the ball in the air while trying to hack in the cow corner. Best way forward for pakistan is to retain the same team (minus bowlers), create turning pitches, score 240-250 and then try to choke the opposition. . Their best era in recent was under Misbah when yasir was their premier bowler. nevada, rangeelaraja, sandeep and 2 others 1 4
tapandrun Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 Sethi was a good cric admin for PCB, got psl started, brought back psl to pak. Then brought back intnl cricket to pak The bad move he played was when he wnt after bcci over that mou. But there is no point in recycling him again and again, its same thing pcb do with player as well recycle them over and over again, making then strong politically. Player do not have to perform at domestic levels but use some media apply pressure at right time and they can get in that's why so many mediocre player keeps on playing for pak. Shadab was dropped after back to back poor show in 2 icc events and without doing anything big in domestic he is back as vc, there are number of players like this. They do not know what to do with shaheen, rauf, babar and rizwan. Pcb just plays musical chairs as there is alot of unaccountable money coming for icc

Ultimate_Game Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 PCB has performed more surgeries than what a hospital does. I suggest PCB rename themselves to PCC - Pakistan Cricket Clinic rangeelaraja, sugumarrising, Sean Bradley and 1 other 3 1

Tillu Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 All the PCB chairmen should perform live open heart surgeries on themselves. rangeelaraja 1
New guy Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 Just pull the plug now, no surgery is going to save anything once brain death has already occurred. VT87 and rangeelaraja 2
NameGoesHere Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 (edited) Sorry to disappoint you fellas but the surgery isn’t as drastic as heart or organ replacement. It’s basically a removal of multiple anal fistulas. My advice to Pakistani players is to be real mard-e-momins, bend over and grit your teeth real hard. Don’t scream, moan or even whimper. My advice to everyone else is to definitely not google ‘anal fistula’. Edited March 11, 2025 by NameGoesHere Lord 1

I propose they become organ donors and donate organs to other Asian countries. Usman Khan can be donated back to UAE, Shadab Khan can join B'desh, Shaheen would be a great fit with Afghanistan. The dynamic duo of Babar and Rizwan can probably play for Nepal. raki05, New guy and rangeelaraja 3

But @Ultimate_Game has given the best solution for this mess - with a detailed organ donation plan. raki05 and Ultimate_Game 2

tapandrun Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 do not think its going to happen, no1 smart would take up the pos. As per reports pbc is under massive cash crunch after this ct, they are cutting players fee at domestic levels

Drop TTFs like Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen, Rauf etc.? Then who's gonna play? It's not as if they've players waiting on the wings who're any better. Unfortunate truth is they simply don't have any talent coming through and will be lucky to stay relevant against top teams like Ind, Aus, Eng, and NZ.

Unfortunate truth is they simply don't have any talent coming through and will be lucky to stay relevant against top teams like Ind, Aus, Eng, and NZ. PCB made a well thought of decision to put its efforts more towards white-ball and t20 cricket, which take less resources and effort to make player and stars. But the thing was they put their hopes on players specially batters who are no good for that format. Pak team was good in t20is till their bowling was good. They were restricting other team at reasonable scores which there batter can chase with some effort at the end and similary they were defending sub-par score which the batting unit was putting up. Do not think test is anymore a concern, ODI and T20is are pcb's concerns. In t20is do they have batters in reserve of same caliber as other teams are coming up with. Today a 50+ ball ton is seen as match losing innings. The issue was they put all the resources so that babar can succeed. so babar and rizwan would play most of the balls in which ever way they wanted and then ask middle order batters to go for 200+ sr which is nt possible unless they are some1 like pollard or russel. Hence most of the pak middle order batter do not know how to construct an innings and all they know for hitting to aim leg-side which does not work anymore at intnl t20i cricket. And because of nt knowing how to construct an innings they lack behind in oids as well they play at their own slow pace, no tempo nothing. If some opposition team score 320+ they kind of leaves the chase as soon as fakkar is out and they play their own match inside the match, trying to score some 50. Pak should have t20 player not saying odis but t20s they should have. The best chances pak team has at icc event is at t20is and the thing that worked for them has been to bring new player give them some matches at intnl level and then play them icc t20i event, as they are new there is not much data on them it works for them in 1st season. As soon as ppl have data on them their technical issues and short comings become obvious to exploit. nevada 1
