He is showing the world that he is giving Pakistan a chance, internally they may already called of the ceasefire however they don’t have to make this public. This is diplomatic ware-fare, all about optics.

China even has anti-ship hypersonic missiles: 

 

 

If China uses Pak as a proxy, these can be fired on Indian fleets to basically sink them.

We would have already done that if we wanted to. We can but we won't. 

 

No - the MEA just doesn't want to go to war. I guess the war games with a loony like Asim Munir in charge goes all the way there pretty quickly. 

 

My deal is though-with him being so crazy, what's the bet that he doesn't do it anyway? Why not take the initiative and damage them as much as possible? This way we just come off as cucks.

It does not need it overnight. A batch can be flown in quickly. 
 

In WW2, the US nuked Japan in a few hours once the flight took off.
