In Pakistan, both are currently playing a central role in rallying support and rejecting Indian claims. And it seems a similar dynamic is taking place across the border too. When these forces dominate, logic, evidence, and rational discussion lose their value. 

 

Its reverse actually.

 

Despite what facade Military controlled Pak media has tried to portray...it's actually the Pakistan who is facing heat from all corners of the world and losing badly in diplomatic warfare.

 

Almost every country of this planet has supported Indias right to retaliate. And the same you can see in Indias response as well, we have been careful enough in not letting our pilots in the danger and hence attacked first via drones to cripple the defense system. 

 

Except China, Turkey and to some extent Iran & Malaysia...majority of the countries have either stayed neutral or sided with India. Russia, Israel, France, Australia, Phillipines, Thailand, Indonesia to name a few..even the likes of Saudi & Qatar have choosen to stay neutral tell you how much support Pak is getting even from the Muslim majority nations.

 

No one in this world wants terrorism, unfortunately Pakistani jernails need that to keep their power intact on the Pakistan. These jernails and their families are muching fast foods and cold coffees happily in US, UK and other western countries..while the common public is fighting on the streets to feed their families. Thats the narrative world is seeing right now.

Wars are needed at times to maintain peace.

 

But Gains have to be irreversible.

 

We should capture some of the Pak lands...and expand the territory. Pak should feel that their owned land is now lost because of their own foolishness. They've lost Bangladesh earlier...time to lose other parts as well.

When I see the kind of rhetoric some Indian media outlets are promoting, it becomes clear to me that irrational voices are not limited to one side. There are extreme and misinformed individuals on both sides of the border.

I used to believe that modern media and especially social media would help people become more informed and thoughtful. But I was wrong. Instead of spreading awareness, these platforms have ended up fueling misinformation and hatred.

 

 

 

Except for this incident, there was not much disinformation spread about Pakistan/wars. We all know how much land and soldiers we lost in 1962 war. China incursion happened and we lost soldiers, but later we fight back and stopped them and inflicted losses on them too. But overall , we lost to China in 1962. How does ISPR spin 1971 as a win when they surrendered with 90k soldiers?

They could be planted stories. Indian media is possibly worst in the world. But they have been briefed specifically this time.

We also thrashed China in 1967..Lt Gen Sagat Singh beat the hell out of Chinese army in the battle of Nathu La.

That defeat was the reason why China went back and never attacked on us again.
