Talking about his stance towards India.

He has no solid stance towars anyone. Those change depending on how nice INdia is to him. He has no obligation to be nice to India. That is how his mindset is. IF Pakistan sucks upto him more he will support them.

It was always going to happen, obama-biden had ideological disagreements with Indian right wing but they were clear eyed on what India meant for them, they saw us as important partner in Indo-pacific region whose core values matched its, a democracy with liberal values that will be bulwark against china.

Trump doesn't understand India relationship in terms geo-politics, its history or complexity. Indian/Indian Americans viewed Trump from the prism of Trump 1.0, that was a mistake. Trump 1.0 was led by traditional conservative republicans who understood all of this. Trump 2.0 is transactional, true trump without the checks & balances, how it ends up will depend on Modi's ability to be in the good books of trump.

We will still need to wait & see what happens, Trump says stupid stuff all the time, because fundamentally he is rich dumbo who has failed upwards. We should still wait & see for ACTIONS that could be guided by the republicans (at least the ones left) around him, who still value India partnership,

I have always called out the low IQ moron Indians supporting trump. He is a born racist who always hated brown people in general. He is against all immigrants, legal and illegal both. He only and only likes white rich guys.

It's hilarious people thought a hateful bigot would somehow spare them despite being brown Indians.

The next shock will come to the legal Indians in America when republicans move to cut their roles in America and eventually force them to leave.

Any Indian who supported this brown hating bigot is stupid.

Trump 47 is not the same as Trump 45. He was an outsider back then, now he knows the game inside out. He simply doesn't give any F this time. Like how he ambushed Zelensky and now SA president. He fell apart with Netanyahu as well.

His voter base is loving him though, his approval rating is phenomenal.

Trump has always been a transactional guy. Egoistic to a large extent.

He wants countries like India to accept his tantrums, if they don't...he will use techniques to play hard. If you dont budge and its causing him economic hit, he will recede.

Did the same with China.

One good thing with Trump is you know what he wants. If you negotiate with him well, favours can be done.

Biden or Democrats are different breed...they will stab India from the back and be goody goody at your face..Trump is on your face, like it or not.

I think his plan A failed after Japanese /Saudis/Intittiinal investors and others didn’t buy US bonds and markets were on free fall.
So he shifted to plan B.

1. After previous administration apathy to Mid East , China was able to bring Saudis and Iranians on same table. He has taken China out of ME. So he won on this front, but only after dropping Gaza Riviera plan

2. All US war-game simulation on Taiwan has always made China as winner. So India on his side now along with Russia. His problem is, neither are playing ball.  Russia has sniffed the weakness. They will get what they want in Ukraine.

3. India feels it can not listen to Trump as his plan B is involves Pakistan in US quarter. Iranian FM

met Jaishankar and they have changed the tune on nuclear talks. May be, we too have a plan B.

He is US president. He will do what he thinks is best for US. Didn't we apply pressure on Maldives to comply ?

Thought 2nd time his approach would be different but it's the same a) create chaos and something good will come out of it. b) Indian style selling .  For a 10rs item asking price is rs100 then give 85% discount and sell for 15.

Of course i support, Pakistan is our enemy. And of course I am against whats happening with Hindus in Bangladesh

But most of all I am concerned with my own country and what affects my countrymen, no based on religion. Trump being in power is going to affect the entire world very very negatively, the economic collapse of the US will bring down the entire world which will directly affect me and my family
