I do not know the history of Ajay Devgn and the WCL. What if, he would have purchased the rights to the tournament *before* the Pahalgam terror attack? This meaningless India vs Pak match would be his cash cow. He would try to gain the most from it.

 

What he should have done, is pledged a generous % of the proceeds to the Army Widows fund or a drone development program. Sends a clear message and the Pakistani people attack their celebrity cricketers:  " How dare you play where the funds go to the Indian army?? "

It will look comical if they play now after forfeiting the earlier round match. This is run by an Indian actor too. If they wanted to take a stance they should have never entered the competition as they could potentiall face Pakistan.

We are coming out looking like pushovers because of this indecisive govt. Won't even blame players now, accountability rests with GOI, need a clear cut policy.

 

And Gutka Devgn's movies should be banned. Bhadwa could have invited NZ or Lanka instead of Pooks.

Anyways, the onus is on the Central govt to put an end to this or risk losing favour with the public. But we know how dumb the BJP can be when it comes to narrative building and Optics...:facepalm:
