Game recognises game... I so wish Motwane and Anurag hadn't politicised their career that reflected in their filmography later on.

Indian cinema was the ultimate loser in the end.

It killed their career tbh. Not sure what Motwane did.

Motwane isn't an outspoken political guy like Anurag/Dibakar. Probably not even LW. Privileged background unlike AK who used to do menial jobs in Prithvi Theatre after landing in Mumbai.

Motwane's audience is very niche, and he takes his sweet time. Doesn't get funding as well because of his BO record, he had to do a movie with Ananya Pandey because parents of these nepos take care of finances.

Udaan, Lootera, Trapped, Bhavesh Joshi, AK vs AK, Sacred Games S01. And most recently, the series Jubilee which I haven't watched but heard great things about.

Motwane on the other hand is world class imo. He is a man of less words and more actions. Lootera was brilliant. And Udaan.

Kashyap i have seen since his earliest days. There was a time I loved him. Especially during passion for cinema days , where he used to write extensively. And was an underdog. Then I saw him and actually heard him speak. Very base world view. Very pretentious. Innocent and idealistic in his own way. But can't separate his craft from his very superficial politics.

He hits peak moments. But lacks the craft to bring it together.

Have been big fan of Kashyaps work. Hoewever , nowadays he has become a bit monotonus. Recently watched Nisanchi (Both parts) and was pretty disappointed with detailing as it looked no better than Gangs of Wassey pur. Infact cheap remake

Anurag is good director but lately doing lot of brahman hate mongering, feels like slapping him when he open his hate speech. But absolute  master in his skill Gullal is absolute masterpiece.

Indeed. Except the craftsman in this case can't seperate his views from his craft.

the soundtrack hinted at for part 2 is a mix of the cult 1980s serial KnightRider. it’s been mixed by Busta Rhymes, Panjabi MC to name two hits. it’s also been the ringtone on my Iphone for 10 years! the music director  has seriously good taste!

Moves past Pushpa 2 now...  Humanity wins.

Can't believe Pushpa 2 made that much. Pushpa 1 was still a decent movie and entertaining, novel. 2 was hot garbage.

It just went past the Hindi version of Pushpa 2  not all-time collections, including all languages. Pushpa 2  made close to 1800 crores in India in all languages.. Dehat is still king in India

Hamza, gaadi rok.....

And then this plays

Na de dil pardesi nu, tainu nit da rona pai jaauga

Naal Ranjhe te jogi de, tainu jogan hona pai jaauga

Epic. Aditya Dhar you genius.

Great thing about this scene. It show what cod blooded killer Rehman is. And that's understandable. At that level, he won't have a trusting bone in his body. Inspite of all Hamza did to gain his trust, in a moment, he lost his trust.
