On serious note, Its going to be slippery slope for ICC. NIP it in bud

Shivam's bowling was called dead ball for 360 degree spinning while releasing the ball.

Remove the slight mystery part from him , and he's an average bowler.

Wish we had someone like Sehwag now. Best player of offspin that I've seen. He dismantled Mendis big time.

If you need help dealing with Putrid Pakistan team then you better stay home and not travel to Sri Lanka.

India should be beating Pakistan with its under19 team.

here is some data based on simple google search ::

Pak batter's sr vs SLA ::

Babar Azam    ~100–115

Sahibzada Farhan ~112–118

Fakhar Zaman ~121
Saim Ayub   ~114

Usman khab ~115

Vs off-spin::

Babar Azam    ~125–130
Saim Ayub    ~135–140
Sahibzada Farhan    ~145+
Fakhar Zaman    ~140+
Usman Khan    ~130–140

Rest Varun, and have axar, Abhishek (if fit), Rinku, Verma, Sky, bowl few over vs Pak. if pitch is to assist spin then it would assist them too.

For off-spin just dart across from round the wkt and pack offside field

jst chk how good is the side without varun and abhishek

His round arm action is fine, but he should not be allowed to pause. I know the current rules allow a bowler to pause if that is normally part of their action, this is a loophole. Lets walk through what a problem.

Why is a pause not allowed, normally? Because it is a distraction & bowler can suddenly bowl the ball while the batter least expects.

Why is a pause allowed if its normally part of the bowler action? Because the batter now expects the bowler to pause.

But here is the problem, who is counting? Let say the bowler pauses for a 1 second usually & suddenly pauses for 2 seconds. How is it different from a bowler who never pauses & pauses for a second? The batter can still be ditracted by the length of pause which could be subttle. pauses should not be allowed period.

New rule spinner should deliver the ball in  10 seconds . From the start of his run up . How he uses the 10 seconds it’s up to him or her

All Indians are scared of Tariq and this pakistani team. I expect him to run through Indian side and after a pak win all pak players will pray infront of Hindu players so that waqar can enjoy.

Ashiwin in one of his podcast made a good point that if batters think they can pull out of the shot once he pauses.

This is a good point, his pause is to distract batter than batter should should distract him back. either umpire will tell the batter to not do that again or will ask tariq to stop pausing,

per rule Tarriq is allowed to pause and same with the batter they are allowed to pull-out if they fell some distraction, it wont look nice but it is what it is.

fake pull out law 41.4 can be applied here,

Also, after the pause to generate the pace that he does, there needs to be bending of the arm involved as well.

Tests prove that he can bowl that delivery legally, not that in match day, he will bowl every delivery legally.

he is yet to play a game vs Ind. The post was regarding the action and pause and wht rules says.

Already pointed out its not hard to play tariq or hit 4/6 vs him, its just the novelty that is part of discussion and concern.
