BacktoCricaddict Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Legend. Om Shanti. Loved her range and her willingness to experiment. Had the pleasure of attending a live concert featuring her, in 2007. Mind-blowing. Funny story from the concert: Some guy kept screaming between songs asking her to sing Marathi songs. After a few times, she got exasperated, looked in his direction and chided in her sweet voice "OrDu Nakka." (don't yell). My guess is that - in her mind - she was thinking "kauN eh ha BawLaT." When I attended her concert here, Sudesh Bhonsle had featured as a guest star. He was a riot and so was she. Even at being past 75 she was such an energetic performer. One of my fav memories.
