Everyone blames Rahane - but what abt team management?

Why do they send Rahane at #1 - knowing fully well his limitations?

There was a reason Rahane was not in playing 11 till now, so his limitations are well known to team mgmt.

At around 7-10 overs mark, why did they not send a hit out or get out message? Very passive team management?

Poor bowler management by Dhoni....where Kohli had to bowl the last over

Can't blame him on that. If he kept Bumrah or Nehra to the end, it would have been over well before the 20th over. It was a good move to take the game till the end.

LOL who would you bowl in last over ?

Jaddu and Ashwin getting smacked all over very easy..

You would have to plan in such a way ....from the beginning of the innings....so that a "  less than part-time bowler "  does not have to bowl the last crucial over.

Rahane should have a badrinath very early. THat is the problem. He was protecting the wicket like he does in tests. It was frustrating and painful to watch him struggle to find gaps or bludgeon the ball.

He is a test player like Pujara. Stupid to send him, instead of Manish Pandey - to open innings.

Shud have had Manish Pandey open, and Negi (2 overs to bowl) instead of Rahane. But MSD does weird things.

Under lights at Wankhede against these Kattaans India had no chance to defend just below par totals. Probably should have included Bhajji in place of Pandey or Pandya.

What rubbish.. Bowlers bowling No balls yet all the blame on captain as usual

Score was shit enough in first place.. Rahane ruined it with batting and Pitch + No balls helped WI

Simple as that If gayle was there this would have done by 17th over..

When team wins its not bowlers but captain. When team loses its bowlers. Sounds good.

Why do you feel the need to defend every single thing that Dhoni does   ?

Rubbish mentality

Captain fool promoting himself was when the match was lost.

He thought we'll make enough runs on this patta by running 2s.

Thatvwas epic. We needed a 10 ball 30 innings.

Can't blame Dhoni too much on bowling lol They were thrashing every single one except Nehra upfront. Even if they bowl few dot balls it was invariably followed by 4 and 6.

What was the logic behind Rahane's selection on this ground?  And is it true that he said 165 was par?? Idiot needs to be thrown out just for that stupid comment. Regardless of there being no dew in the first innings, 210 was a minimum here.
It was as if they were forced to include Rahane when Pandey was decided to be brought into the team. Why the hell do we persist with players with such chronic batting issues when we suddenly make these inexplicable decisions?

190 with just 2 wickets down and such few sixes on this ground is a big joke. Why was Jadeja bowled all 4 overs when he was having such a poor game. Ashwin could have gone for runs too but was more likely to take wickets on this pitch. But this wasn't the biggest blunder in this game.
