Yes, he is not, I am just grading them according to their level. Bumrah is a grade A bowler for us.  I included Binny and Pandya too in some category just to show you where I rank these bowlers. You think Pandya is a long format bowler? I doubt he will get a game this series. I hope we are not thinking of depending on his bowling to win a test for now.

Nope. I don't. Never did. And probably never will. Was just making the point re Bumrah. I agree with your classification although Pandya is better than Stuart Bunny.

Still there was enough for spinners. The Kolkata pitch against NZ was a good wicket for pacers.

That was a good pitch, albeit more pace oriented.

I am excited about this TEST the most - bcos I believe that the Pitch will not be a PATTA or a Total Spin friendly wicket...even the vizag was kinda turning and we always had an edge over English.. as pitch was a dead patta for pacers and lil spin friendly.

 

we need to know what kind of pitch is being offered..

 

if it is PACY and FAST then we shud play 3 pacers and 1 pandya and 1 Ashwin.

if its pacy on first 2 to 3 days and then SPIN friendly then 3 pacers and Ashwin and Jaddu.

if its a doctored pitch with spin friendly then 2 pacers and 3 Spinners jayant, Ashwin n jaddu.
