Historically all they did was cheat with bottle tops... since the time crackdown on ball tampering was put in place all the beastly "phaaast" bowlers have been flogged everywhere :phehe:

Good to see you still weeping :giggle:

Yesterday was watching some highlights of matches from 1984 Australia Pakistan. Qadir took a fiver. In one of footage, The way he was rolling finger around seam, In modern day it will be classed as ball tampering. All Pakistani spinners got wicket while Ausie pacers and spinners shared the glory together. One wonders why?

imo Quadir definitely cheated that game.

  • Tears of laughter after watching another virtuoso performance by the "best team in the world" with all those beastly phaast bowlers. I hear the "best team in the world" may need to play qualifiers to get into the 2019 WC. Howz the preparation for that coming along? :cantstop:

It is instructive and insightful to know what is considered 'shameful' by Pakistanis.

True that! Apparently letting in convicted match fixers, cheaters, drug cheats etc. in the national team is not "shameful" and then they go and cry about "honour" :hysterical:

Rashid Latif sir...it is more shameful that despite  your self being aware of the fact that  your great fast bowlers were proven bottle top operators, you comesout with a statement like this

What exactly did you expect from a guy who claimed a dropped catch, even against the likes of 90s Bangladesh?

Wasn't be banned for 5 games or some such for that cheating incident? The only player to ever penalised for cheating :hysterical:

It's shameful that our Indian fast bowlers are getting compared to Pakistan ones. Shami, Umesh have made Root, Cook dance in Indian conditions. The other side of the border, with it's phaast attack could pick not pick 10 wickets 5 out of 6 innings in Australia.

How did Indian super phaaaaaast bowlers get on today?

Didn't concede a century before lunch, last we checked.

Besides, they play for a team that actually has the ability to chase down targets higher than 225, so instead of trolling here - go celebrate the once every 20 years ODI win against Australia.

Keep crying. You will NEVER produce fast bowlers of the calibre that Pak have produced historically,

Listen, I dont know what you guys keep harping about. Also, wonder what this hype is all about... Pakistan in its entire history has produced only 4 world class fast bowlers. ALL BUT 4! Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar... Out of that, Waqar Younis was a world class performer only in the first 4 years of his career, after that he started bowling in mid 80's(mph) and became ineffective. There are lots of accusations on Imran over ball tampering, also on Wasim. Shoaib has been accused of chucking.

But let's ignore all this chucking and tampering and cheating, you still just have had only 4 fast bowlers. What history are you talking about? Its about time Pakistanis and cricket world acknowledge this fact!

fluke

Fluke is when India bowls out anyone for less than 300 on a pitch that isn't turning square :p:

Our bowler selection has been off.

The talent is always there in Pakistan.
