RPS didnt take the decision. The owner Sanjiv Goenka did. Not a cricket coach, nor a team of experts but the head of a conglomerate.

The bigger question is, should owners interfere so blatantly in a sport that they have little understanding of?

Or is RPS the personal plaything of Sanjiv Goenka? Is there any kind of a democratic set up where a panel decides who stays and who doesnț? Or is it based on the owners whims?

Kinda like the bcci chairman interfering when the selectors wanted Dhoni gone, huh? Was the Indian cricket team the plaything of Srini? Was it based on his whims over ruling the selectors. Come on, when Srini went power mad and supported Dhoni there was no complains about it even when it was the fricking national cricket team and he was over-ruling an elected selection committee. Now you have a problem when its a private IPL team?

Btw, how do you know the coach, etc didn't agree?

But that is the point of these Professional corporate leagues. Generally in the corporate world there is no democracy, they quickly fire the non-performing employees. Why should IPL be any different, it is a highly paid job, either perform or perish.

Msd is past sell by date

Comment was about his wins with CSK. That tournament was second last for the team before IPL '15 where they were runners up.

No one gives a **** about CLT and I'm sure meyeppan was there in the crowd somewhere.

MI was also part of that weren't they? So Meyappan in crowd made them lose?

Mariyam, those who live by sword, die by it. Dhoni+Srinivasan combo have been doing the same thing not only in IPL but in BCCI too.

Goenka is a businessman and must've realised that Dhoni's focus is and will always remain on CSK.

Dhoni is a T20 liability now. Fit for retirement home like CSK.
