Go and speak to the common folk on the street like a tea stall owner or an Auto driver and they will articulate it better than 90% of the posters here as to why Modi has been a tota let down. It is not going to be about RaGa winning this time but more of a case of Modi losing. Does it matter Will be a travesty if this guy becomes PM but then again Donald Trump is the president of the USA, so not totally impossible. However Modi has fluffed it totally. Only thing that can save him and this is almost next to impossible for it to happen is if Modi dumps Amit Shah. The common sentiment is Modi is the good guy but Amit Shah is the bad guy and has his ear. Obviously every leader has a a guy to take the heat. Lot of things demo is just one of them. The fact that Ram temple went on the back burner till recently, no uniform civil code, No progress on the Kashmir issue,GST, The Sardar Patel statue especially built in a prosperous state like Gujarat where a lot of other states could have used a revenue from an initiative like that. People expected Modi to take some strong decisions given the majority he got in 2014 but still the same old crap of letting the opposition create ruckus etc and fiddle with decisions. Once again Half-assed implementation. People expected Modi to (as our coach would say) throw the kitchen sink and go full with his decisions but didn’t happen.
