BCCI cry babies are the ones begging ICC for extra millions :hysterical:

BCCI is asking for a formula and a fair share.

Begging is what PCB does. No contributions but just a return.

I have to give credit to Pakistan though. When it comes to begging you are indeed the best.

Problem for Pakistan is the timing.  They sold their vote to Giles Clarke over some promise to send "top ICC players" to play in Lahore and probably support on this issue at the ICC level.  Now, knowing that the BCCI giant has started to rumble, and eventually mobilize itself, they better cash in the chip asap if they want to have any remote chance of success.   Because the longer it takes, the better the odds that the BCCI will get its $hitshow together and handle not just the PCB, but the ECB and their cohorts at the ICC level.   Unfortunately for the PCB, the 'dispute resolution' process is a legal one, and not one at the mercy of hastily convened meetings where votes can be bartered.

Another thing to note - until the recent ECB led vote-for-cash tamasha, PCB could make all the noises it wanted for PR purpose, but couldn't afford to really piss off the BCCI - even a 0.1% chance of an Indian tour and the resulting bonanza was something they couldn't afford to risk - even with low odds.  Now that the ICC has promised them a bumped up revenue share - they feel they can risk taking on BCCI.

Textbook example of how our greenbro neighbor conducts itself vis-a-vis India - Antagonism whenever and wherever it can afford it.   That's why the Indian govt needs to do what it needs to, to keep them under pressure, and thus within their limits.   The moment these guys have a bit of breathing room, its back to business with their #1 priority - Fight India.

No need to get all worked up.  They are pursuing max cash in a manner that they see is most effective.  Just making wrong choices IMHO.   In the 70+ years of existence, they have realized that they are not equipped to really go head-2-head - only way for them is to make deals with Unkil Sam, or Unkil Saud, or now Unkil Cheen.   They need a powerful backer if they want to go toe-to-toe with "Evil" India - and in the process if the powerful unkil molests them or take advantage - they are ready for the collateral damage.   Giles Clarke maybe a self-serving snake, but if he can get them hosting games in Pakistan again - why shouldn't they try and go for it.

Problem for Pakistan is that ECB isn't really allying with them, they are renting them.   Alliances are all temporary.  And PCB's overall best bet, especially in the long-term, is to ally with BCCI.   And its not like they haven't done so in the past.   They probably will, in the future as well.

Issue for them was that TV contract they signed, was hanging like a noose around their neck.  They were foolish enough to give the TV channel a reduction clause based on 'home' India series.  And without that money, they really would have been in deep ****.  Now they have a new lease of life coming through with the bigger share from the revenue, and also a few political chips that they can try and use to go for even more $$$.   Let them try.

Its a really fascinating political power play that's going on with the ICC.  Its going to be interesting to see how the BCCI manages to work through this.  Once it starts actually trying to.  Right now, its still mired in internal turmoil - what with the CoA attempting to tie its hands behind its back, while the association and the powers that were, are spoiling for a fight.

BCCI is basically asking a model by which it has right to NOT play a country including Pakistan. Rest all will fall

This is absurd.

I would love to see a judge give a ruling on this one.

Giving money to Pakistan will break all the norms.

India should countersue and ask for money for harrasment and backstabbing.
