If we win toss, what should we prefer?

I prefer India makes a statement and answer the critics on its Bowling by defending a total. WIll also be a great boost moving into Final. However considering the Semi Final crunch gage and given the record in CT  - should Chase.

These wickets are a nightmare to defend anything.

Chase. If BD bat first and collapse like SA or Eng, great. If not, we have batting firepower with master of the chase Kohli to chase down a good total.

Bat first, put up a big score.

Bangladesh won't handle the pressure of a chase.

Pitches are getting very slow so deciding a score is difficult. We won CT while chasing

In a big knockout game, ALWAYS bat first. Can't go wrong. That scoreboard pressure in the 2nd innings is invaluable.

Their batting is strong, not like Pakistan. So we are at a disadvantage especially considering bowling has always been our weak area.

I hope Indian team is not hung up on the toss the way ABDV was against India. You could see on his face he really was hoping to win the toss and field. India is a good team and i expect them to show up and perform whether they bat first or chase. Stick to the same combination as last match and they should do well :agree:

Bat or chase, i think it's safe to say that India will win regardless. Chasing would be ideal though for India. I don't see bang scoring 300+ against india with bumrah bowling at the death. With that being said, India will easily chase down a 300+ total against bang anyways.
