We are persisting them after the WI tour regardless of how the tour goes for them.

Better option, stars fail badly only to be saved by pandya/kuldeep/pant. India winning and hopefully Rigid Kohli gets his brains back at right place :)

Look at collapse of SL after mahela and sanga left. We saw in the game against India some of these SL can bat but youth without direction wont take you far. Yuvi and Dhoni maybe good enough to play today but i cant see them winning us 2019 WC. Dravid has already spoke about it, i expect changes once this series is over. 

 

HOWEVER, we bring in likes of pant, pandey, rahul, samson then we as fan should be ready for defeats and inconsistent performance.

    No one can perform great the moment he comes into the team . 

    In fact several of them will be exposed after 3-4 games  and thats what is needed .  Any chinks in their game should be tested so that they have time to rectify  it.

  Again  all the names we take up would not be a success. Many may have talent but temperament , nerves play a big part at international level.   All these need time to test out and  zero in on right guys .

  Thts  why all well meaning ICFErs here are tearing their hair out and banging their head as time is running out .

New players need a lot of time to develop fully as international cricketers..... that time needs to be given to them after identifying correct talent. Ideal time to do that is now as the WC is still 2 years away.  Playing a team full of established stars is detrimental to this objective.

 

Also, as you said, all the players chosen will never do well as there is no way of knowing beforehand who have the temperament to do well in international cricket or who are the ones who have the hunger for success along with the talent.
