India have never won a T20 v NZ. They have stumped us multiple times in T20 WC2007 and again T20 WC2016

 

I remember one match where India were coasting to victory and MSD cost us the game.  James Franklin of all people did something.

Iyer is better suited for ODIs than T20s, but he's good.  Looking forward to seeing him in action.  That's assuming he gets a shot.  

 

VK has been consistently and notoriously conservative in handing out spots to newbies in the playing XI.

we have dhawan n dhoni who are proven unsuited for t20, well lets atleast give iyer a chance to prove anything 

 

not only handing out spots but backing them to, these player will get chances one way or another but whats the point if they are not backed

People think lot of us fans just hate Dhoni for the heck of it....but clearly there are so many examples of his screw ups...had in those games Dhoni been out for 0(1) trying in the process,no one would even bother because a loss will hurt but atleast win or loss is part of the game but not trying or playing for notouts and average is totally unacceptable .

 

This has happened too many times...hell we already pointed out 3 instances against Newzealand with whom we have played what 8 T20 games???
