He doesn't watch any other cricket other than what he commentates on. He was surprised to see Bumrah at 140+ and spoke about Varun Aaron being quick as if he is our only fast bowler (only reason being he was commentating in England at the time). 

 

Sometimes makes some interesting points but sometimes patronising.

Lara, Richards, Bishop are lovely people, no malice from their side. Holding is an Uncle Tom. Don't want to comment on Bucknor because our Venkatraghavan was harsh on the WI, esp Lara (I recall him giving 4/5 continuous bad decisions against Lara) but he was a terrific umpire.

I never liked him, look at 1983 world cup story from Star , Holding says even after 9 wickets down he thought he would be able to bat thru and win the match as Indian bowling was not dynamic. that was such a cocky statement.

lets not be racist here ourselves. Holding has a weird point of view and he really hates BCCI and things like IPL
