I wonder if we are still going back to Raina and Dhoni after 10 years of IPL, what has IPL contributed. Pandey is such an eye sore, one can't help but think that there is no way this guy should be anywhere near Indian side.

 

And based on what we have seen of Shankar lesser said the better.

The most disappointing thing is that their part time bowler Saumya Sarkar can bowl yorkers whereas our main seamers can not land 1 yorker

Stop over-reacting.  Pandey and Shankar are limited players and series like these are perfect to test them out. 

 

Can't expect to win everything.   But Shankar's 1 run in 6 balls in the 19th over will be something he may never recover from.

Stupid thread, ipl has taken Indian cricket to the next level, ipl has given plenty of products to the indian team, one has to be a blind idiot to not see it

I am a big hater of IPL. BIG! But lets not deny the kind of employment and respect it gives to unknown youngsters. Guys who may not make it big/ or to national side, can still have a realistic chance of getting selected in IPL and earning money. Not to talk about getting noticed in the international scene.

Chahal. Ashwin, Goni, Unadkat, Dinda, Binny, Jadeja, Munaf, Jadav & Badrinath come to my mind. I saw them initially in IPL later on they played for national side.
