Whatever is evident so far in this test, Pak is a very underestimated team. The bowling unit very good and batting is underrated...

 

Also England test team now a days sucks... however they will be in full form against Indian team which tours later...

 

Happens every time. SL or Pak team tours early and does very well against England followed by Rockstar Team India which starts sucking comparatively...

 

By the end of India tour, gives enough ammunition to SL or Pak fans to at Indian fans...

If we remove our bias, Pakistan is a fantastic cricket team. They have a great bowling attack and now good young batsmen & all rounders coming up. Pakistan is reaping benefits of removing old dead woods and giving chances to young potentials, something our selectors should take a note.

 

I know we have a political crisis, but boy wouldn't a test series between India & Pakistan will be absolutely mouth watering.

Reality is that on a given day Pakistan can beat any team. They do miss consistency and can fold but take them lightly and you will lose. No ifs and buts when motivated they are a good team.

Pakistan has won 3 tests against Eng in Eng post 2010, heading towards a 4th win today. India has 3 wins in Eng post 1985. Sure all teams have their nemesis somewhere, eg Pak in Aus and Ind in Eng...but calling them a bad test team is a ridiculous proposition. They are a middling team with the capability to beat anyone when they play their best cricket.

If pak is winning this test then it shows the aukaat of english team rather than the strength of pakistani team. This pakistani team is a minnow, it got whitewashed by lanka and even ireland came close to giving them a phainty, if england are losing to this phateechar team then they should be ashamed of themselves

If we want to win, we need to select right players not hacks here and there who scored 200 against some minnow attacks in ODI on flat pattas.

I am very surprised to see the application and patience of the Pakistani batsmen ,England bowlers didn't bowl badly so scoring 360 odd against this decent pace attack is commendable. Pretty sure our overrated marathas would have thrown their wkt in order to show their intent with slashes and edges .

Not too much surprised by pakistan bowling effort ,they bowled similarly at Lord's in 2016 as well and England batting unit is very average against variety pace attack

If India does not win this series in England I would call Kohli a failed captain. India has to win and rest are all excuses.

Captain is as good as his team. Sarfraz is not some great tactical captain and he only knows to shout. His players are good and delivering. Yes we must be critical towards Kohli the batsman though if he fails.

We cant compare the upcoming test series with this current one ,that one is way too long, India/Eng can loose series even if they win 2 tests,other side can comeback and either win or draw the series,Pakistan are doing a commendable job at the moment,yes Pakistan can really be applauded if they win the series 2-0..

here are my reasons for India winning.

 

India has the best bowling attack in the world. Definitely better than Aussie.

India has the best 5 bats in the world.

karhick as a starter keeper is real good.

India should win and rest are all excuses.

This is where I fault Kohli.

His blind faith in Pandya.

His blind faith in Ashwin.

 

Only performers need to be in the team. No quota or past performance.

India will hand down the biggest phainty england has ever received if they play like they are playing against pakistan

Pakistan always manages to catch England off guard through some individual brilliance, be it Ajmal, Yasir Shah, interestingly it looks like Mohammed Abbas is going to be the man this time.

Shows the importance of practice matches or ODI's (Pakistani vs Ireland) leading up to important Test matches (Pakistani vs Eng). India could have been 1-0 up in so many away tours if BCCI inexplicably didn't start the tour with a test match.
