Shardul can be in the squad whilst the rest of the promising bowlers can get good match practice playing domestic cricket. Don't see a problem as he's not starting clearly. 
 
Not a problem with this squad. Happy that Dhawan is dropped. 

Sorry for Karun Nair though.He did not get even a game in SA and England

On topic, good squad. Perhaps what Rahul said was true about the management given roles. Rahul is the backup opener in ODIs and Dhawan is the backup in tests (Second in line after Rahul).

Positives:

* Agarwal being finally rewarded for his hardwork and consistency. 

 

* Siraj: Need I say more. The current most exciting talent. 

 

* Umesh: I am glad they decided to stick with him as he didn't get enough chance in England. 

 

* Shaw: Let's see what this kid is made of.

 

Negatives:

* Thakur: There should be an investigation as to why this mediocre player keeps on getting selected.

 

* Nair: Poor management of this player. FFS he has scored 300 in Test cricket. Show some respect.

• Agarwal is selected as an opener (mostly likely a backup) .... others being Rahul and Shaw 
• Nair would compete w/ Rahane and Vihari

    You also need to consider what he does when playing A team matches. 

    While Mayank , Bawne, Vihari have piled up loads of runs , this fellow being kaptaan performs very average .

    That is telling who is currently in top form.
