I feel it’s 33/34 max .

 

viv richards last 4/5 years were pretty bad , played till 39 yrs..

sehwag  lost it around 32..

ponting stats are bad in his last 2/3 years ..

dhoni 33/34 ..

klusner retired at 32..

There is no such ideal age.  It is about how one is performing.  A player himself knows it when his time it over but they still hang on as long as possible.  A batsman should when reaching quarter century starts to seem like double century.

I thought his dad was bald like Anupam Kher. Forgive me I get all the Dhoni heroics from the movie. Real life performances have been a let down :(
