See stats of both as opener as rohit has half the career batted lower down the order & without big scores we would have lost even west indies odi series as just century wasn't helping us to get win even from vk.

Rohit was avg less than 40 for a considerable time (first 100 ODIs or so) iirc  so he has done well to take his avg past 45 .... FYI
