I just don't care. The day he got outbowled by Moeen in England and effectively lost the test for us, should have been his last day in test cricket for India. He doesn't exist for me anymore.

Harby is an inferior bowler to Ash outside or rank turners as well as on rank turners. Dartbhajan, after his first couple of years, became an ODI specalist spinner.

Yep. Pretty much 90% of the problem here, is Kohli who sets fields like a moron and doesn't let his bowlers set their fields.

FYI this is the THIRD time today Ashwin would've had a wicket if facking moron Kohli had more than 1 slip to him.......

Ashwin bowled well in the first innings of the England series and then it was all down hill. It pathetic to see him not able to land two balls on the trot in the rough, instead keeps trying different variations. I really hope we get to see kuldeep in the series going ahead.

I wonder if he does it on purpose. Probably thinks it is beneath him to just bowl in the rough and get wickets the easy way. Idiot doesn't get it - just do simple things right consistently and wickets will come.

Only thing in Ashwin’s favor is that lack of 5th bowler meant he had to bowl a marathon spell non-stop. He did look threatening in a few overs on a trot here and there. Had he been rotated his bowling would have looked much better.

 

However that is an excuse for a rookie not a 300+ Wicket taking senior bowler.

Shaant gadadhaari bheem. He bowled a non stop spell without a 5th bowler. He has been average everyone acknowledges that but no way as terrible as you make it seem and not the worst of our problems.

 

He has bowled a few pathetic overs and some really good overs but obviously the marathon spell made it look worse.

 

give Aussies some credit. The tail was getting some runs against Bumrah and Ishant in the end as well. Poor captaincy though.
