Bhuvneshwar/ Pandya depending on who is bowling better should be playing. Pandya if wants to become a permanent member should bowl his 4 overs every match IPl. Ideally Pandya should become good enough bowler to be third seamer.

If u drop pandya for 5th bowler like shami/bhuvi u also loose a fielder which is important in every match 

this ll happen only in ur world....every team needs a hitter at 7

This Indian record or even the world record of fastest 100... Kulcha has a good chance to break it.. given that we get to play few weak teams in the world cup. I'm happy to see Shami breaking Irfan Pathan's record. Irfan must have played the weaker teams a lot to get there.

Pace bowlers of current era in odis have no help of reverse swing so you need to consider that factor as well. With two balls there is not much swing nor reverse swing for pacers.

Shami, Bumrah and Bhuvi hv sealed their WC spots.  One of the best indian pace trio in WC history.   Middle order is our real concern, and that can be sorted out immediately if Rayudu is replaced by Gill.

I would like to see him working on being a pinch hitter. Send him as number 4 in events where we loose 2 quick wickets, also the spot is empty as per Kohli( Dhoni to bat at 5)

Here we have issue of testing middle order and you are talking about sending shami? Top 3 will keep scoring runs in next 10 matches and middle order for sure will go untested.

Then send him as number 3. We must test pinch hitter. Its an area which has been ignored for very long

highly doubt if it will happen with current team management. Though it can actually work. Shami has proved that he can hit 20 - 30 quick runs if he use his brain properly.

Yes, with current odi team, There is no flexibility. Everyone is going by a set plan. No improvisation.

I think we don't have to worry too much. World Cup is going to be long tournament with quite a few big matches. We have good attack with multiple strike options. We can rotate between Kuldeep, Shami, Chahal, Bhuvi depending on conditions to form the bowling attack with Bumrah and Pandya + Kedar.

Hardik will always play due to his power hitting and fielding. Shami can play in place of either bhuvi or chahal depending on the conditions..

 

In condition not supporting spinners playing KUl-cha plus Jadhav is not sensible. Since our 6th bowler is also a spinner ,Shami should play in place of chahal (on seaming condition)

I feel we should rotate the bowlers wisely in the world cup as the format is quite long. 

Against sub continental teams ( Pak, SL, Ban, Afg) we should play 3 pace attack with Jadeja as all rounder and any of Kuldeep/chahal whoever is in better form. 

Against western teams ( Aus, Nz, Eng, SAF, Win) , we should drop Shami and play both the wrist spinners with Pandya as the all rounder. 

It'll help players to be at their maximum fitness and fresh for the knock outs.

Bhuvi, Bumrah, and Shami looks like a very potent attack for WC. However, this means India will have to drop one of the wrist spinners in order to give bit of depth to batting. Hardik is a good 6th bowling option.

 

With India's limp middle order, you can't have Kuldeep or Shami batting at 7.

Both wristy's don't have to play against sub continental teams but a must for Sena teams. We can rotate our bowlers acc to conditions - pitch, weather, size of grounds etc. It's a nice headache to have, our bowling seem sorted, now if only we can boot out the csk players.
