chewy Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 This guy continues to impress Has to be find.of this year IPL Going to get big bids next auction Selectors need to take a punt and get him.into t20I, just like they did with Bumrah, Pandya, Only 17 and smashing sixes with ease The Dark Horse 1
vvvslaxman Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 More than the technique he has this presence that give the dressing room a calmness. Pretty cool, calm and collected in whatever he does. chewy 1
Vijy Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 He has excellent temperament for his age, but I cannot see him succeeding in Tests or (funnily) T20s. However, if he retains his temperament and works on skills, he can be an excellent No. 5 batsman for India in ODIs.
Sachinism Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Been extremely impressive in everything he's done. Defo one to keep an eye on
gakgupta Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 He seems someone like Dhoni.... Street-Smart and make best use of his limited skills... He showed signs of next Dhoni ...not in terms of keeping or helicopter shot but in terms calmness and match awareness
vvvslaxman Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 We need players with temperament, strong mind. Mental midgets should be identified and eliminated.

nsareen Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 i also feel he could be a good finisher if groomed properly, from what little has been demonstrated in IPL he has a good head on his shoulder & knows how to bat in a crisis. Hope he gets the support required as if he continues to play from Assam, he might not get anywhere, he would have to be pulled out of the domestic quicksand.

Since 2016, he has avgd 42.2 with the bat and taken 5 wkts per match at an avg of 23.5. Even if it's mostly in Ind, these are incredible records.

neel roy Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 (edited) One thing i must say is his body language and demeanour. Its cool calm even when he is fielding. The chase he pulled through with tewatia in even that he was calm. He is pretty young and if he can keep up his consistency genuine chance for him to have an india cap Edited January 16, 2021 by neel roy
Vk1 Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 He seems to be a special player and perfect fit for our middle order. Should get fast tracked and not go by stats as he seems to bat in the middle order.
