Make that more than one game. Any match where we depend on him to see us through, he will choke like he's done so many times in last 4-5 years. Will do well only when someone else is in better hitting form from the other end.

We should judge his performance as against someone in his position. What if a youngster had been there, maybe Pant? Someone else like Pant could have added an extra dimension. Dhoni's style of cricket doesnt suit anymore. Neither was he great behind the stumps.

It was ok to start with and ensured no wickets fell. Could have shown bit more intent later on especially vs. spinners. But with the kind of pitches he may actually turn out to be useful.

 

Good thin gis he is still good with pull and generally you can't bowl short to him

Yes..he would have holed out in first 10 balls like he always does.Cant see him batting under pressure.
