We probably don't know the value of him?  Many non Indians rate him very highly in white ball cricket.

We do......only a few on ICF questions his LOI credentials

Non indians value his talent more coz they dont go through frustation of it being not converted for many years which we have gone through so they even back him in test cricket .....plus they will such talent doesnt come every day

Hmmm..  He has changed his cricket in last 2-3 years.. he values his wicket much more compare to previous years... he used to be elegant, but inconsistent, batter to watch .. now he is elegant and reliable batsman to watch..

He will get into any all time eleven. He is better than Jayasuryas and Gilchrist. I don’t think there is anyone who is better than him other than Sachin.

Rohit has shown a lot of consistency across last 5-6 years ...

For a person who debuted in 2007, & got almost 120 odd games before he started performing, he was frustrating to the core. Some people are late bloomers and Rohit is one of them. Touchwood, hope he performs for next 2-3 years before we search the next opener

Rohit deserves a lot more credit than he gets in general due to being inconsistent .This has to the first time in his career he looks better than ever before and consistent as well.

we have some promising options already. in 2023 WC, it would be nice to see the gill-shaw duo, but it's possible that at least one of dhawan or rohit will be around.

Sachin faced a much better Pak attack.

In Rohit's defense, Rohit never got threatened by pace. Never seen anyone pull fast bowlers for six like Rohit sharma has done. We went gaga over Tenduklar pulling Andy Caddick for six. Recently Rohit pulled Mitch Starc for six. ALso if you look at the shots of Sachin and Rohit there is a difference where the ball ended up.  Sachin's six ended up behind the wicket Rohit's six was parallel. Basically it corresponds to the speed difference.
