kohli is much better batsmen than smith but fails in important games and is not a good captain. smith's technique is vulnerable and awkward to watch.

With his technique Smith averaged almost 8 points more than Kohli in test match cricket - runs galore all over the world. His technique works for him. Simple as.

Any batsman can get out by number of ways but he is hard one to bowl and field . The same way the Kohli was out twice to short pitch bowling it does not mean that he is bad player of short ball.

The best Clutch player from India was out injured in the 2nd game, if anyone was expecting Kohli to be a clutch player after his past travesties is making a fool of himself. Chootiya was again found laughing around in the dressing room when we were 92/6 doing a bit of drama with Bewda in his wet panties. The passion has gone from kohli. Back home from the game and although australia lost, the best innings for me was Smith’s. It took a run out to remove him, and Edgbaston booed him out of the stadium. Clutch player.

That's because he blossomed more in the last few years reaching his peak potential and that coincided with his captaincy term. In this case, correlation does not imply causation.
