Kohli Expects Extreme High level of consistency from everyone, he shud have same yardstick for himself n drop himself to

First let me clear i dont want kohli to be dropped but Im going by his own expectation of unimaginable standards of consistency 

 

• Kohli avg in last 12 innings - 36.50 (nair was dropped after avg 62)
• Played a lot of loose shots in this phase - which pant has been criticzed.......now asses ur own shot selection atleast he is a youngster
• If pant catching worries them- Kohli shud check his own catching he drops more then any 
• Nair dropped after poor perfomance in Aussie series where he avg 13.....but kohli avg 9 
• as @express bowling said he Shud step down from captaincy of RCB Like Gambhir 
• Has Kept KL on bench on t20 despite perfomances, kohli has sucked for one year in t20 last year ....drop himself 

 

As he says he 1st does it himself then expect form others

Also he should limit himself playing biletral and t20 only where he is goat. He should drop himself in icc 50 overs and test championship as he has habit of choking and slowly the disease is spreading in other players as well.

exactly well said .... I was thinking about that too .Seems Kohli has given 'boon to Bhasmaasur' . Rohit  'bradman at home' Sharma will start to compile huge scores one after the other at home. With Mayank  & Pujara( slightly inferior version of ROhit)  before him , Kohli would face the situations which he came across in world cup a lot more  .And him being   a bit iffy against quality spinners at the start  of his inns, he would come a lot more  when the pitch starts to misbehave at home because of the  TOP3 already stayed at the crease a lot more in general. And then, that is going to affect Kohli badly

Kohli has earned the right to have few failures.Nair didn't so stop comparing tom dick and harry with Kohli.This series is not over yet.

This is Kaptaan stupid notions- 

One of which got busted today when he thought Saha keeping wud be more helpful- well news for him he also dropped catches n is very poor with DRS. So everyone makes mistake but in his books youngsters cant....

 

In his n shastri books pant gets whacked for playing loose shots what about captain himself . Both hypocrites had no guts to call out dhoni....also i bet had dhoni not retired they wont have every dropped dhoni for his keeping issues against fast bowling

 

In his books dhawan , rohit,  can fail for ages in test cricket but if a newbie like nair fails- its curtains 

 

how many 100s do u expect a guy to score who just played 7 innings, he scored his 1st 100 in his 2nd test only ......kohli 1st test 100 came after 8th test ......so kohli shud understand what patience is must . If kohli kept failing till 8th test he shud better knw

Yea he has to take a lot of blame for unfairely dropping someone . Cricket is a game thats played 50% in mind.....confidence plays a huge role. We have seen self doubts making biggest of biggest legend look like fools....that kid is a young kid

Every one has a right to fail.....If an legend like kohli can then why can less superior batsman fail . 

A guy who scores 300 has to.....4 innings to less. Many legends have had insane struggle for longest part of their careers.

After Nair was dropped from test squad,he was given fair number of chances in India-A squad.But he failed in both England and New Zealand.Then he was even dropped from India-A.He has been inconsistent,especially outside India.He should perform on foreign India-A tours to regain hist place.If Anmolpreet outperforms Nair in SENA,he may be better choice.

The thought of being dropped 3 tests after hitting a 300 can be so demotivating. No wonder Nair completely lost his way for a few years. Good to see him making a very strong comeback in last couple of months.

So has been iyer inconsistent on A tours in last 1-2 yrs

No one is ever consistent all time......failure is important for growth

 

But dropping someone in so less chances when they have achieved a rare feat is bizzare. It can put self doubt in someone.....self doubt can make any cricketer loose his form in small matter of time be it anyone
