He is still in the squad as we are speaking and i am sure will get chances 6 more months, maybe till t20 wc. Its more tougher for players now compared to players from 10 years back. I doubt rohit sharma would be rohit sharma if he is debuting now. So thats the little privilege rahul is getting, whatever it is.
