Come on. I can't speak of behalf of others, but *I* don't see any ulterior motive in the lyrics of this song. If the argument is that kafir is a 'hate' word, that's a different arguement. Canonically it has a negative connotation, but does that mean its a hate term? But one can also argue that any such collective term can be used as a pejorative. You Muslim! You Indian! You shortie! You CSK fan! Besides, in the song it is simply used on the lines of the mild 'unbeliever' more than the harsher 'infidel'.
