Shaw is just so slow & lazy, poor fielder doesn't run well between the wickets either! Anyone who says he belongs to the Sehwag, or Mumbai, school of batting clearly smoking some good :canabis:

siraj played wrong format

Khaleel didnt bowl to his strength....

Shankar n dube werent bowler ....they were batsman who can bowl with min bowling skills

Hardik has improved a lot as bowler

Landing bowl on seam cant be taught at this stage ....either u have young age or not

Not every bowler will have all variation

A bowler have been top notch in last few years.....2-3 bad games cant change it.

NZ 2 tier are bowling in their condition and we are comparing to away condition

Bumrah coming form injury

Saini n thakur are inexperienced

Shami looks a bit tired, same shami was terrific last yr in NZ

Arun has been a team management demand for long precisely because of the effect he has had on the senior bowlers. All of ishant, shami, bhuvi, umesh, pandya and bumrah have improved and developed a lot over the past 3 to 4 years.

No everything cant be

Gillespie was able to get Ishant to bowl just that tad fuller - something which the whole world could see, but somehow couldn't get across to Ishant - just that simple change completely transformed him as a bowler.

Gillespie didnt teach but fixed something that eas wrong. Ishant came in as bloody good talent

If you are happy with Bharat Arun as a coach and think India can't do better, then we will have to agree to disagree. For me, he is bang average as a coach.

he has done very well but we can add someone also who has international exp as well

Number of our bowler in last few years speak for Itself

Unless we get Pandya in the middle and Rohit opening, we are always going to set a sub par total. Then, we need an in form Bumrah to choke runs. None of that is possible in the remaining tour so 3-0 in ODI’s and 2-0 in Tests.
Congrats NZ

this is just semantics - Gillespie fixed/coached a glaring problem in Ishant's bowling that the India national coach couldn't. End of story.

Of course, no one can develop McGrath clones on demand. But then again, I see that this debate is pointless.

tests are a different ball game. in fact, test cricket is where we are the strongest.

We are the best in Tests due to our Bowling. Bowling hasn’t been good at all on this tour.Don’t see them running through NZ side in Tests.
