Ok, I wanted to get away from Indian cricket till IPL. Went to cricinfo to get updates on Aus-SA, and below is what I discovered:

It appears as if the cover up job has begun through Cricinfo, using the yawn inducing subcon tactic - "you too or dragging others in like even they."

Yes, Ganguly was absolutely driven to win overseas...he was a magnificent captain for us for 4 yrs..his decline as player and captain started in 2005- rightly dropped but then he bounced back like a champ in 2006. He completely changed attitude of Indian cricket. Dhoni-Kohli morons hv pulled us back but we will rise back, that seed planted by ganguly-dravid-tendu-kumble generation has taken deep roots.

Ganguly was not the key batsman of his side. He can argue that he did as well as the key batsman of the 2020 side

If Kohli and co faced the kind of conditions or the kind of bowlers that Ganguly's team faced, we would have seen a new record low score. The useless chump should thank his stars he faced lesser bowlers like Southee and Jamieson.

 

Imagine the dance we would have witnessed if Lord LOLLI faced the Bond at his prime. Bangla nagins would have been put to shame.

Only minor difference is Ganguly’s team in 2002 were ranked 6th or 7th in the world while Kohli’s was the number 1 test side. Expectations, available resources, performance in our age group and A team cricket - all have been outstanding in the last 4-5 years except under Kohli’s captaincy outside Asia

Sehwag was super flop in that test series. He . He scored 2 odi century in that series

These chewts blow every single opportunity to fix the abysmal SENA record. Why even bother to go there if you don't show up mentally? Just stop touring overseas and play only Jamodi series all year so that Birat can easily hit 15-20 centuries in a year.
